1. Parties & Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between GBCH Consulting LLC, doing business as A1 Lux Rentals (“A1 Lux Rentals,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 3 Allied Drive, Suite 303, Dedham, MA 02026, and the individual named on the rental reservation (“Renter,” “you,” or “your”).
By completing a booking, paying a security deposit, or taking possession of a rental vehicle, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.
2. Eligibility & Driver Requirements
To rent a vehicle from A1 Lux Rentals, the primary renter must meet all of the following requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
- Renters aged 21–24 are subject to a Young Driver Fee of $30 per day.
- Hold active personal auto insurance that will cover the rental vehicle for the full duration of the trip.
- Successfully complete our Integrated Driver Validation process, which includes uploading a photo of your physical driver’s license and a matching selfie.
- Provide a valid credit or debit card for the security deposit hold.
License Requirements: Your license must be a physical license (digital licenses are not accepted), unexpired for the full rental duration, unaltered, and must not be conditional, probational, provisional, restricted, or a learner’s permit. US and international licenses are accepted.
3. Additional Drivers
Additional drivers are permitted at no extra fee, provided each additional driver meets the same eligibility requirements as the primary renter, including minimum age (21+), valid physical license, and successful completion of the Driver Validation process prior to the rental start date.
Only approved drivers listed on the reservation may operate the vehicle. Allowing an unauthorized driver to operate the vehicle voids all protections and may result in full liability for any damages incurred.
4. Rental Period & Minimum Stay
All self-drive vehicle rentals are subject to a minimum rental period of three (3) days. Single-day or overnight rentals are not available at this time.
The rental period begins at the scheduled pickup time and ends at the scheduled return time as confirmed in your booking. Any changes to the rental period must be approved by A1 Lux Rentals in writing prior to pickup.
5. Mileage Policy

Mileage overages are calculated at the end of the rental based on odometer readings at pickup and return. Overage charges will be deducted from the security deposit or charged to the card on file.
6. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of $500 is required at the time of pickup via credit card hold or cash. The deposit will be released within 7 business days of the vehicle’s return, provided no claims, damage, violations, or outstanding charges exist.
The deposit may be partially or fully withheld to cover: mileage overages, fuel deficiency, late return fees, damage, cleaning fees, smoking fees, traffic violations, tolls, or any other charges arising from the rental.
7. Fuel Policy
All vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel. The Renter agrees to return the vehicle with a full tank. If the vehicle is returned with less than a full tank, a refueling fee will be charged at current market fuel rates plus a $20 service fee.

Repeated or excessive late returns may result in restrictions on future bookings. If you anticipate a late return, please contact us as soon as possible at (855) BOS-A1LUX.
9. Geographic Restrictions
Rental vehicles may only be operated within the New England states (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine) unless prior written approval has been granted by A1 Lux Rentals.
Requests to drive outside of New England must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled rental start. Approval is at A1 Lux Rentals’ sole discretion and may be subject to additional terms or fees.
Operating the vehicle outside of approved geographic boundaries without prior authorization is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of the rental, forfeiture of the security deposit, and liability for all associated costs.
10. Prohibited Uses
The Renter agrees not to use the vehicle for any of the following purposes:
- Any illegal activity or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Off-road, unpaved road, or rough terrain driving.
- Racing, speed contests, or any form of competitive driving.
- Towing, pushing, or propelling any other vehicle or trailer.
- Transportation of hazardous materials.
- Rideshare or commercial hire purposes (e.g. Uber, Lyft, etc.).
- Operation by any driver not listed on the reservation.
11. No Smoking Policy
ALL VEHICLES ARE STRICTLY NON-SMOKING. Any evidence of smoking inside the vehicle — including cigarettes, cigars, vaping, or any other substance — will result in a minimum charge of $350 and forfeiture of the full security deposit. No exceptions will be made under any circumstances.
This policy applies to all passengers in the vehicle, not only the primary renter. The Renter is responsible for ensuring all occupants comply with this policy.
12. No Pets Policy
Pets of any kind are not permitted in any rental vehicle. Evidence of pet occupancy may result in additional cleaning fees at A1 Lux Rentals’ discretion.
13. Vehicle Condition at Return
The Renter agrees to return the vehicle in the same clean condition as received. If the vehicle is returned in a condition that requires extraordinary cleaning beyond normal use, a cleaning fee of $300 will be charged to the Renter.
A1 Lux Rentals conducts a vehicle inspection at both pickup and return. Any damage, soiling, or condition issues identified at return that were not present at pickup will be the Renter’s responsibility.
14. Damage & Liability
The Renter is responsible for all damage to the rental vehicle occurring during the rental period, regardless of fault, including damage caused by weather, road conditions, third parties, or accidents. This includes damage to tires, wheels, the undercarriage, roof, and interior.
The Renter’s personal auto insurance is the primary coverage for the rental. A1 Lux Rentals strongly recommends confirming your coverage with your insurance provider prior to pickup.
A1 Lux Rentals reserves the right to charge the Renter for the cost of repairs, loss of use during repair, diminished value, and any applicable administrative fees arising from damage to the vehicle.
15. Airport Pickup
For Renters selecting Logan International Airport as their check-in location, an A1 Lux Rentals team member will meet you at the designated limo/car service pickup area and transport you to our vehicle lot. This is not a door-to-door delivery service — the vehicle will be available to you at our lot.
For all other pick-up locations, pickup will be at our Dedham lot: 3 Allied Drive, Suite 303, Dedham, MA 02026.
16. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Norfolk County, Massachusetts.
By entering into this agreement, the Renter waives any right to a jury trial with respect to any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms.
17. Modifications to These Terms
A1 Lux Rentals reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
